Plus Zero 700 1990

My 1990 760 Turbo came with 195/60/R15 tires. I'm about to buy new Bridgestone RE730 tires that are available in 205/55/R15. A quick "whiz by" on highway mile markers shows that my current 196/60/R15s result in about 58 seconds between markers at a speedometer indicated 60 MPH. This (I beleive) indicates the the current tire circumference is a smidge larger than the spedometer thinks it should be. Since the 205/55/R15s have a slightly smaller circumference than the 195/60s, this looks like a pretty decent match, from strictly a speedo oriented point of view. Does this sound even remotely correct? Any comments on the RE730 (Generation 2)? Thanks!!
