Sticking Valves ? 700 1985

My car is running quite well now, after replacing a bunch of things;however, in the morning it sounds like I have a noisy valve for about 1/2 mile. It's rather loud but goes away after it warms up a bit. The car is not very cold since it's parked in the garage (50 F or so). Is there any way I can make it quit without doing something major. I have tried running a bottle of STP system cleaner though the gas. (1985 b230ft engine with 79,000 miles) It has Castrol 10w30 synthetic in it now.

Thanks for any tips.

Randy
