Can I replace an automatic transmission with a manual transmission? 200 1980

I recently converted my 83 Turbo from AW71 to M46, This is what you'll need from a doner vehicle:

Front section of driveshaft
Transmission/bellhousing assy.
Clutch/brake pedal assy.
Clutch throwout arm
Shifter and boot
OD solenoid and associated wiring (at least get relay socket and you can roll your own wiring).
Clutch cable and associated hardware
Flywheel
Pilot bearing retaining snap ring
Pressure plate, throwout bearing (if in good shape)

New stuff to get:
Clutch disc (I was lucky, doner vehicle had brand new clutch)
Pilot bearing

Really quite an easy swap and I am very happy. Speedo reads about 10% fast.

Good luck,

Juatin B.
