IPD adjustable cam timing 200

Has anyone installed IPD's adjustable cam pulley for the timing belt? Their catalog blurb claims a degree or two advance in valve timing is supposed to improve low-end torque. You give it back at the top end, but for urban driving, having something RIGHT NOW when you punch it would be great.

And with an NA and automatic, when I punch it now, nothing happens.

But as usual IPD wants a lot of $. Is it worth it?

Thanks for any help you can provide.

Doug Harvey
