Bumper Shocks 140-160 1974

Hey Mike, when I bought my '74 wgn. in 1980, all 4 shocks were collapsed. I tied a big rope around the bumper at each location and a big tree and yanked them back out. Then I tac-welded each, at 3 places around the circumference, of the inner and outer sliding tubes to hold them in position. Since then the car has had the bumpers bumped, in parking lots, 3 or 4 times now, by being backed into I guess. I just pull it back out and weld it again... regards,Tom
