Analyze this...Blown Gasket ??? 200 1986

O.K., made preliminary inspection on my newly acquired 240 w/ a supposedly blown head gasket. The coolant is very clean and at the proper level.Car did not overheat.Oil is also clean and no trace of coolant in it..no milky oil!!! Filler cap clean..no sign of water..Car runs rough w/ the AMM attached or disconnected. No smoke..P.O. says volvo mechanic said it's a blown gasket..Please share your thoughts..Thanks in advance!!
