The Next RWD Volvo?

Should be interesting. Was reading in BW this AM that US automakers were tooling up to reintroduce RWD to compete w/ European automakers because enthusiastic drivers were tired of the lack of response to driver input w/ FWD.

WRT to the LS, have heard great things about the car. Never driven one though. As for a great eurotouring feel, I have a 92 Buick GS 3.8L (unfortunately FWD) 4 speed + 0D automatic. Cruises comfortably and quiet at 85-90 MPH turning about 2300 RPMs getting 29 MPG. Would like to have had this one in Europe!

Yes 29 MPG! The 55 MPH law of old was pure BS. A couple of engineering buddies from college took it on as a semester project years ago.
