I think Jerry's procedure is pretty much what I remember given in the Haynes manual, if it ever warms up I'll go out to the garage and check. This thing has such a convoluted procedure because there are actually two hydraulic circuits per caliper. I think it's sort of like the left front inner runs off one circuit along with one of the rear outers, or something like that.

Relly a good design once you think about it, it seems that if one of the two hydraulic circuits was to fail you would still get "some" braking on all four corners.

This is just speculation...
