Water in my Blower Motor -- Help 700 1992

Hi everyone,

For some reason I noticed a water leak on the passenger side floor. Upon further investigating, it seems to be dripping from inside the Fan Blower basin. My rugs are wet and I remove them until I find and fix to the problem. I have been told this is common in the 740's. My blower works fine, however I am very scared this would last long. I checked all the drain holes/plug. Water seems to be ecaping where it should. I read that there is a fix for this problem. Read below:

The reason the original fan failed became quite apparent in today's rain. Water showed up around the new fan. Apparently the 740 has a
tendency to leak on the passenger's side with the water ending up in the plastic basin that the fan sets in. [Note: See Volvo TSB for a fix for
this problem.]

Does anyone (Stephen Ringlee) know the fix??

Thanks for your help.
