engine number identification

Well as luck would have it I had found John Laughlin page (I think) and E-mailed him. He Identified it as a euro spec b23e.. 140hp etc... I'm quite happy with the power output but the engine is on its last legs (big end knock) I'll be pulling it out rebuilding it maybe I'll try to pull abit more power out of it then its getting transplanted.....into.... a..... nissan 720 king-cab ute.... turns out that its the best combination of low end torque, economy and HP etc... when compared to the japanese DOHC etc motors I had been looking at.. It has converted me over to volvo... I expect to have it in and running by around june.
