TB Cleaning = AT Tranny Problem? 200 1989

After changing the oil, I decided to do a "quick" cleaning of the Throttle Body, leaving it attached. I pulled off the intake hose, got a clean rag, poured a little carb cleaner on it, and decided to wipe off the inside of the throttle flap. I turned the flywheel(?)/throttle to open it a little bit and cleaned as much of the other side that I could get to. Mind you, this the first time I've attempted this. I know not to spray carb cleaner directly into the TB. :-)

I put everything back together and the car seemed to idle better. Here's the problem, 20 minutes later after the cleaning, I drove on the interstate. I had to floor it due to some idiot. After I got done flooring it (going 80), the car didn't want to get out of the passing gear/overdrive (automatic). If I gave it gas, the car acted as if it was in neutral. I pulled over, turned the car off, waited a few minutes, and then started it back up. All the other gears shifted normally, as long as I didn't fully peg it.

After watching Lord2 (3 hours later), I got back on the interstate, and I wanted to see if it would do it again. I got it up to 5500rpm, it shifted back normally. I tried this 4 more times, each time was successful; everything shifted back great with no hesistation.

Is there anything I should check? Perhaps some carb cleaner found it's way to the TPS? The throttle cable is tight, I hear the "click" immediately when I turn the flywheel, the car idles around 900 with the A/C on. I'm just hoping that this was a one-time thing!
