Volvo Problem Solver Book 200

I ordered mine in '90, from Robert N. Gerhardt & Associates and paid what I thought was too much at the time.... $60... But, never regretted it. It is well laid out for quick troubleshooting of "no-starts" and has 3 sections for troubleshooting. There is a "Quick Check" sec. for partial testing, and a "Vital Signs" section for use for poor running conditions, and a "Basic Check" sec. for and I quote, "this should be the first chk. you make when a NO-START condition exists. It will help pinpoint if the fault is either in the FUEL INJECTION SYSTEM, OR, the IGNITION SYSTEM." (their emphasis)
The book also came with a Video. I'll have to look to see if I still have it. The info came in a 3 ring binder to lay flat to use. I just counted 126 pages in all. There are about 15 sections or chapters. One sec. covers Oxy. sensors another sec. carbs and D-jet. the next covers K-jet, next LH- jet, then Electronic Ignition systems, eng. spd control sys. etc. As I recall it covers '7 up through the 240's and 700-760's. Up to around the issue date of early '90's.
If you are a do-it-yourself owner OR a Volvo Tech, you can use this book, and it paid for itself quickly.... hth, Tom in Oregon
