92 740 sunroof drains 700 1992

The front drains go down through the A pillars and end up draining behind the front fenders, right about where the front doors begin. The rear drains meet up with the drain hoses for the rear window (on a sedan) in the trunk and exit behind the bumper trim on the lower rear fenders. Pull back the carpet on the sides of the trunk to see the fitting. It clogs up with crap from the channel below the back window and can back up into the trunk and even the sunroof.

You can use compressed air to clear out the sunroof drains, but you run the risk of blowing the drain hoses off the nipples. Be careful. You can attach a shop-vac to the rear drain hoses and suck out any debris.
