122S complete Wheel size upgrade?

I recently picked up a 1966 122S; form original owner. Car runs fine just needs some TLC. Anyway, the first item I want to imporve on is more tire tread on the road. I beleive the stock rims are on the vehicle 15 x 4. This rim size is very limited to tire selction; in fact they have the largest tire on the rim 165 x 15.
Real skinny tire....I'd like to get mor tread on the road as stated earlier. Any rim size I could go to..such as 15 x 6, 7 or 8s. If so max tire size 185 to 205's.
Additionally, does anyone know of a salage shop or others that provide parts for this year will be helpful. I live in Fairfield Ca.
Thanks in advance.
