OverDrive installation eventually... 120-130 1967

Hey, thanks for the reply. It would seem that the transmission may be okay; My only fear now is that it was installed incorrectly and they may may have put it in reverse with the OD engaged. I have no reason to believe this other than it's in the trunk and not under the car, but I'm no Matlock. What exactly happens if you throw it into reverse with the OD engaged? I've heard it's a bad thing to do, but what's really happening?
