Racing Idle - Adjustment on K-Jet ? 200 1981

Is it a complicated procedure to adjust the idle on a K-jet system? The Bentley manual has a section on 83-85 CIS turbo systems, but mine is an 81 non-Turbo. When fully warm, the idle races at somewhere around 1400 rpm's and I'm not sure what to do about it. It's way too high, and I've got to get it down. Any advice would be appreciated.
