Electronic Ignition Upgrade 1800 1972

I'm fed up with fiddeling with the points on the distributer in my 1972 1800E. To remedy this, I am interisted in upgrading to an electronic ignaton system, eather the Crane XR700 ot the Perlux Ignitor.

My question is what are the thoughts on these systems and in case of the Crane, where is a good place to mount the unit.
