Electronic Ignition Upgrade 1800 1972

I've had two crane units--one in a Jeep and one in my '71E. They're great! Rock solid idle, never have to set timing, etc. Never had the perlux, so I can't comment on it.

I mounted my control unit on top of the pedal housing, right next to the coil. Two quick holes with a drill and two screws and it was done. In fact, the entire installation took less than an hour. I have also heard of people mounting it inside the cabin to preserve the "stock" look of the engine bay.

Rolfe---'71E, pointless
