Thanks to All... 200 1984

Thanks everyone for your help on debugging the O/D on my M46. As it happens, the solenoid is good and now cleaned, but it was the relay after all. The switch in the gear shift was sending the 12V to the O/D socket behind the glove box. I am however, putting my own latching switch in, that I have made and it is twenty times more reliable than the electrical-engineer-gone-giddy design in the tap circuit relay that is OEM. The only hitch is I have to remember to manually disengage it when I leave 4th. Not a biggie. Kinda nice actually.

Many thanks again, and Happy New Year.
