86 Volvo Hard Start In Rain 200 1986

I have a 86 240 Wagon with 225,000 miles. On occasion, not all the time, it refuses to start when it is wet out. Come back a couple of hours later when it is dry, and it starts right up. The spark plug wires and distributor cap appear ok, but I'll try changing them anyhow. I would really appreciate any tips on this problem. Thanks and Happy Holidays.
