Jetronic 2.4 Conversion? 200

Howdy,

Just saw a 1989 240GL in the newspaper that I was thinking of buying as a parts car for my 1988 240DL. I was wondering if anyone knew how difficult it would be to transfer my engine to 2.4 Jetronic from 2.2 Jetronic. Is it worth it, or should I stick to finding something with the same Bosch set up?

Also, does anyone know if the 240GL came with a manual transmission between 87-88?
