Engine mount questions 700 1985

My 1987 745T has the liquid filled engine mounts and the more (supposedly)desireable rectangular transmission mount. It has more engine vibration than my wife's identical 1986 car with the solid rubber mounts and the round rugger transmission mount. I will install the earlier rubber mounts on my car when in need motor moounts.
