blower motor? 200

I probably shouldn't bring this up incase a potential buyer for my car reads this, but... When you turn the fan on or off you initially hear a metallic sound in a 'playing card in bicycle spoke' rhythm. Is this the blower motor? I figure it is since it's the only typical 240 issue I haven't addressed in the last 6 months but some confirmation would be nice. Thanks
