Power window demons 900 1996

I have a rear passenger window that refuses to work. It was working intermitently for a while and then stopped (thankfully in the up position). I removed the door panel and checked the motor. It will work in both the up and down direction when I use a jumper wire. I also got the switch in the door to make the window go up after I used the jumper to make the window go down, but only the switch on the rear door will make it go back up. The remote switch on the driver's door won't make it do anything. No clicks, no sounds at all. I tried the switch from the non-working window on the other side and vise-versa. Both switches worked on the working side (both directions) and both would only send the window up on the non-working side. So if the switches aren't bad(?) and the motor is not bad(?)..... any ideas?
