Rear diff fluid change info for late model 240 200 1992

The owners manual for my 92 240 shows a differential drain plug on the bottom left middle. My diff doesn't have this. Since I thought the rear cover would have to come off I ordered a gasket. As the mechanic pulled the bottom cover bolt the fluid came out. This is the drain for your diff. A large automotive syringe is needed to get the fluid back in through the level check plug - middle left on the cover. Just thought I would share. I'll do it myself next time.
