Tool suggestions for getting my 'new' car home? 700 1988

As I've posted, I'll be travelling to pick up my new purchase. Rather than try and fly with a tool bag and spares I can ship these to a relatives home in the vicinity of the car.

It's an '88 740 turbo wagon with an M46. I'm looking for suggestions as to what to include in a tool / spares bag considering I'll be driving it 1000 miles home in winter. Good chance of snow too.

I have a very good selection of tools but don't know what would be unnecessary or on the other hand, particularly useful with this car.
