Turbo Boost? 700 1989

First off - This forum is great!
I have a 89 740 Turbo Wagon. I have experienced many problems over the past year and have fixed the majority of them. Lastly had been a no start issue that was finally fixed with a new main fuel pump. I had changed both relays (fuel pump and radio) as per suggestions from the FAQ. Awesome info there.
Anyway, now that all appears to be working OK, I'm not sure my turbo is up to snuff. I have the standard gauge and when it moves into the yellow, nothing is really felt. If there is something there, it is very slight. The car runs fine in this area (yellow) but I'm thinking I should feel more.

Thanks!
Cisco
