Neat trick to keep tailgate hinges aligned during repair 200

When replacing the tailgate harnesses, one has to remove the hinges. Better make sure they are in the same place or the front edge of the tailgate will catch on the rear of the roof...ask me how I know.
Now for the trick...use "White Out" paper fluid to mark the edge of the hinge BEFORE you take it off. This will guide you where to replace it, and will wear off with time(even better if you wax the area before also).
Hope this helps.
