I am amazed that the Volvo dealers did not have this or would not order it for you. My local dealer suppplied one for me at a cost of $1.96 w/ Volvo Club Discount. You need to get to the right person behind the counter, as some know what they are doing and others do not. Example, one counter man told me that I had to buy the entire power antenna motor and system as he could not sell just the mast with it's nylon gear rack. I told him that I had purchased just the mast and gear a few months earlier at the same counter. He was adamant that this was not possible and walked away to answer the phone. Another counter man came up and asked if I needed help, so I asked him for the antenna mast, and he promptly sold it to me. Don't take no for an answer. Also, if you can bring the old part along with you, it usually prevents buying the wrong piece. All of us can make mistakes.
