Can you say 10mm ?

Volvo says you need 10mm clearance to everything, while installing a new tire diameter. THe tires should also match your cars speed capabilites.

Now I got 17x7.5 rims on my 242, and 225/45-17 tires!
The tires are Fulda Extremo Carat.

I think I got like 12mm clearance with full turn on the steering wheel.
To my suprisement, the wheel was easier to turn, even though I dont have a servo. I think this has to do with the fact that the tire is much stiffer than the original 175/80-14.

Need I say more? plz look at the pic :-)
I need to fix some on the rear of the car, to be able to fit this tire.
ps it's ZR (310+km/h)
