92 240 GL fuel Injection fuse blowing 200 1992

1992 240 GL Fuse #5 (16A fuel injection)blew while driving. Car stalled and did not restart (even after fuse was replaced). Replaced fuel pump relay and this fixed the problem (for around 3 weeks). Today, fuse blew again - and car stalled. This time, car restarted after replacing fuse. Any thoughts? Note: Recently, I had the fuel sending unit replaced by a repair shop and I'm wondering if the pre-pump wiring/connections being disturbed may be a factor.
