One more test- cheap and easy! 700 1990

A good oil analysis will tell you how many parts per million (PPM) are residing in your oil. Things like copper, lead, aluminum, iron along with different chemicals. If your three "mechanics" shake their heads, move on to a heavy duty diesel shop like Cat, Cummins,Detroit Diesel or even Kenworth trucks. They can run a tube down the dipstick holder and pull a sample, they'll send it to a lab and any good engine man can interpet the results. I'd be surprised if it cost more than $50.
