Could it be my ignition coil? 700

On going problem w/ my 89 740 gl 8v 185K Bosch ignition.
Problem started out as a hot start problem then a cold start now it does it when ever it wants to.
I believe that my coil maybe the culperate. About a month ago I cleaned the coil were the wire is pushed into. There was alot of carbon build up. Car ran great once it was cold but hesittaed once it was warm and restarted.
Have replaced all of the following
cap, rotor, etc, rpm sensor, spark plugs, spark plug wires, fuel filter, fuel pump relay etc etc.
Have also changed vacume hoses. Cleaned throttle body. Cleaned electrical connections, grounds etc. Tested all of the sensors- power sage, throttle position sensor, etc.
Now while it's running it hesitates, spits, sputters and usually dies. NO OBD error codes.
Last night it died compltely. I cleaned the coil again (dirty again) and put some terminal grease on it. The only thing I could think of is that my coil is going. Alternator is putting out enough voltage rev the engine and it some times will go away.
Thanks in advance CJ
