'ER....' Sound Part II. 700

1. Please see previous post regarding "Er...." sound.

2. Chris, I found out it has nothing to do with the flame trap nipple, hose, or oil seperator. Sound come from a "plastic valve" part on driver side of engine right next to firewall. Bottom of the "plastic valve" connects to vaccum hose that runs into the firewall into the car. Top of the "plastic valve" connects to larger vaccum hose that runs to intake manifold. Not 100% positive about the the larger vaccum hose since I am writting this from memory and its the smaller hose thats causing the noise.

3. If I pull the bottom hose off, the noise stops.

4. Does anyone knows what this plastic valve does?
