Brake light &failure light 200

Noticed one of my brake lights didn't work. Took out one of the sockets & decided to clean all the light sockets by using sand paper to clean off the area of copper on the printed circuit. Putting all the sockets in all lights work real good, but no brake lights & fuse no. 7 goes when I rotate the right side (white) socket. I've done quite a bit of research here but nothing that might give me a hint of what I've done. Wonder if I should just start under the dash and work back? O yes, the brake failure light started coming on. Thnks for your time.

Hugh
