How many 240s still on the road? 200

Volvo World has production figures for the 240 and 260 series on their web site (www.Volvoworld.com).

240 Total 1975 1993 2,697,623

260 Total 1975 1985 176583

This makes a grand total of 2,874,206.

Sounds like a lot. But that's worldwide. Does anyone have the total sales for the US or for North America?

That's the starting point. However, every 200 series parts car or crusher means one less on the road. I wonder how many have died. Someday...
