Rear defroster help 1989 Volvo 240 DL 200 1989

Hey everyone,

Well recently I installed a stereo and ran new wires for front speakers. This involved also removing the amp for the back speakers which was behind the glove box. Since then my rear defroster has ceased to function. Even when yuo push the switch the light doesn't come on. I poppped the switch out to check and see if the wires were still attached and they are.

Any idea what I could have done? Could there be some other wires somewhere else I may have detached to cause this? Oh, I checked the fuse also, it is still working. I can't think of what has gone wrong.

Thanks!
