shortened shifter on my 1979 242 GT 200

i see all these fancy mod kits for shortening the throw on the standard 240 shifter. well my brother and i decided to just take the shifter housing off and remove the reverse lever and plate. now we have a shiter that is about 3- 4 inches shorter. all sporty!!!! and cost us nothing. we have an after market shift knob all mopar style. *NOTE you better know volvos well if your going to shift loose like this... its easy to grind the gears if you aren't used to volvos. peace out! and happy mod-ing!
