spits and sputter s once car has warmed up. I just can't figure it out!

On going problem w/ my 89 740 185k miles 8v bosch ignition.
Ok here it goes- get in car starts and runs beautiful. Once it warms up (after a couple of minutes) It spits and sputters and the idle is real rough (up and down 500rpms back up to 1200 rpms back down to 500). Feather the gas and it starts running better. Wait a couple of minutes and it will start doing it again! Some times it starts idling so bad it will stall.
I have replaced/ done all of the following.
Cap, rotor, ignition coil, spark plugs, spark plug wires, ETC, crank position sensor (on top off trans), fuel filter, vacume hoses,TPS, fuel pump relay, dry gas etc. etc. etc.
Have also cleaned throttle body several times.
Cleaned just about all the electrical connections in the engine bay. Cleaned ground terminals on top off intake manifold. Adjusted TPS. Etsted power sage, air flow meter.
Have spoken to or have shown car to several freinds who are mechanics (or are knowledgeable in cars) and we just can't figure it out!
Any thoughts , suggestions, ideas are gratefully appreciated!
Thanks CJ
