Battery life - anyone beat this? 700

I have finally replaced the battery on my 745GLE which was fitted in July 93. Was only its second battery from a tyre and exhaust depot (UK). Rating was 72 AH. But TEN YEARS!!! That's got to be some kind of record, surely???
