My Car keeps DYING!!!!!! 200

Hey everyone,
Okay so this time my car is being a real bitch....The other day I drove it for like 4 hours straight and there was no problem whatsoever untill.....We were driving down the highway on the way home and it did this annoying thing, almost felt like I was trying to shift very badly....Then I couldn't accelerate at all and I pulled over to the side of the road and the car died...It didn't chug and sound like it was going to die, it just cut out...I tried to restart it and it would work right away...I took the cover off of the fuel pump relay and turned the key, and nothing...Knowing that the fuel pump relay was not turning on got me a little mad....So we let the car sit for a while and then it worked and the relay turned on as I had the key turned all the way, rather then just turned so the dash lights came on....So we made it a little bit down the road and then it died...and so on....finally my dad came and picked us up and towed us home...We thought that everything was okay because I had driven my car to work thursday and i drove it yesterday...On my way home from school friday it died three times in a maximum on 100 meters...So now we are trying to figure out what the hell to do...Please help, as I know you all will....Thank You.....
