780 front seat problems 700 1987

The problem is that the cable for adjusting the seat back tilting is a bit too short, you can easily fix it by shortening the sleeve for the cable, or what it's called, 5-10 mm is enough. Yes, you have to take the seat out. I took the seat back off from the rest of the seat. Then you can just release the seat cover at the bottom and loosen the cable and sleeve at one side and carefully cut the sleeve, it's a helicoil so it can be shortened if you are patient, avoid damaging the cable itself. Then put it back togeteher and it will work just fine.
