tired of guessing time to condemn the ecu 200 1990

i have replaced the following on 90 240 dl
-air mass meter -gas filter good -idle air bypass cleaned
-02 sensor -grounds cleaned and tightened
-gas regulator -intake hose replaced
-coolant temperature sensor
-wires, plugs, cap, rotor
every time the battery is disconnected the car runs fine for a month or two, now it has a jumping tach, when the accelerator is releasedthe tach will drop then jump up 500 rpms and then down again. is the ECU to blame i cannot figure what else it can be. gas pressure said to be okay
