Radio question 700 1987

Just pulled my radio to work on my ACC and am curious what the orange and black wires coming from the back of the radio, going to a grey connector are. A wiring diagram from the12volt.com said it was switched power, but what does it go to? What accessory would this be for. I could find no matching connector anywhere in the dash and it wasn't hooked up when I pulled the radio. Everything worked before and still works after. Any ideas?
