exhaust 900

I recently crawled under my 94' 945T and have noticed a huge running hole in the top of my exhaust pipr running form the rear resonator forward to the tail pipe, I don't know what would have done this. anyway I am wondering if this faulty exhaust will affect the general running of my engine due to a displaced flow of exhaust out of the car. What I mean to say is there any (+/-) pressure in the exhaust system enabling exhaust to only go one way, and thus due to my holes am I disrupting this. The car is running ok, still hunting down an oil leak, still smell burning oil when car is run, think I have to much presuure in engine. Turbo's don't have PCV? is there still something to check that is similar. Always appreciate all helpful info.
