cold idle speed 200

My car is a 1990 244. Problem is this: on a cold morning starts, the engine idles extremely fast (2500 rpm) for about 90 seconds. This seems much faster than other Volvos I've owned. When engine is warm, the idle speed is about right. After reviewing suggestions in the archieves, I've removed and cleaned the throttle body, tested and reset the idle switch, visually checked air intake and vac.hoses for leaks, and replaced the idle speed motor. Other than cold starts, the engine runs very well.

Any suggestions on what to check next (temperature sensor, ECU, etc.) appreciated.
