Chrome plated plastic door lock knobs. On the 1984, the GL had two outside mirrors, the DL just one. However, any enterprising brickster quickly remedied that problem with a mirror from a GL or a 1985 anything.

1983 GL trim was, for the most part, used on the 1984 DL's too. In earlier years, the DL had a 5-panel tail light, the GL had the 6-panel that became standard for all.

Sometime after 1988 the GL/DL designation was dropped. Then any specials were just like the American car system of first buyer ordering. Leather, tach, autobox, which radio, sunroof, etc.
