OEM Quality? 200

When an online company says they are selling OEM parts, are these parts typically the same actual level of quality of the parts sold at the dealer, or are they simply made by the same company that supplies or supplied the manufacturer, but maybe or maybe not the same actual level of quality? Many companies make several quality levels. I've looked at FCPGroton, alloemvolvo.com, and IPD and have found widely varying prices and brand names. Some brand names just say things like European or German. I'm trying to sort it all out and find one good supplier I can count on for consistently high quality at competitive prices. If you have suppliers you have found that can be counted on to supply high quality parts at fair prices, please reply.
