Windshield replacement 700 1988

That trim does not protect against rust. Might be due to a bad windshield replacement but not because the trim is not there. Trim hides rust and makes rust as it captures moist. However, if you pay someone good money to replace the windshield, they should do a good job and not leave the trim loose. These plastic clips do break but can be bought from Volvo for very litte money. Do indeed make sure they put it back.

And oh, if that story about removing the body panel between the bonnet and the windshield is true, then they do not know what they are doing and if it is not, they are lying. Both are equally bad.
