Is it easy to work with the stereo with this thing? 700 1985

Hello,

I've got an '85 740 Ti. I'm looking to replace the stereo sometime soon, but before I get in the car and start pulling out parts, I have a few questions.

How does the stereo connect to the car (it's got the whole digital tuner/cassette deck thing without an equalizer)? Does it have a wiring harness, or do all the wires still clip into the back individually? What's common with this /year?

Anyway, I guess that's about all I had to ask...

Oh! One more thing: my car has SPACE for six speakers: two in the front doors, two in the rear doors, and two in the rear deck. However, I don't have the whole premium sound package thing, so there're no speakers in the rear doors at all. But there's the SPACE for 'em--so does anybody know if it came WIRED for the speakers? Or did they just skip that part entirely?

Anyway, thanks.

Volfro
